So, at the same time you can make a border together with the last row.

You can use the border for a summer top, shawl, scarf, filet stitch.

Of course, you can use any yarn that you like.

Border Crochet Along Last Row Pattern (US terms):

Abbreviations in the pattern:

  • ch- chain
  • dc – double crochet
  • picot

The border is made on a filet stitch of 1 dc + ch 1.

So, how to make the border?

Start with 1 dc.

Then, ch 4, insert the hook in the first ch, make 1 yarn over, insert the hook in the next dc, get yarn, make 1 yarn over and pull it through the first 2 loops on the hook, make 1 yarn over and pull the yarn through all 3 loops on the hook.

So, you get a picot along with a dc.

Repeat this as much as you need.

So, you can see the video.
